In order to join the Club as a member, your horse will need to be covered by 3rd party insurance and you will be required to complete three helper stints at competitions during the year.

The Club competitions, events and facilities are run and maintained by the Committee with the invaluable support of members. Total costs

In addition to your membership fees, you may need to consider:

Competition entry fees - these vary depending on the event from £6 per class upwards. Where we required to have Paramedic first aid cover (for events with fixed fences) or judges from off the Island, costs are higher.

Social rides - these are usually around £5, with money raised often being donated to charity as they cost little or nothing to organise.

Private and group tuition and clinics - local and visiting instructors can provide tuition on the grounds (subject to having suitable insurance etc), which will tend to cost a minimum of £25 for 45mins of individual tuition (sometimes less for group tuition). You will usually need to pay the instructor directly and also pay the Club for hire of the arena

Hiring the arena - if you are going to use the arena more than twice a month, it will work cheaper to pay anually or monthly. You can set up a monthly payment when you join.
